(Vinny’s POV)

“Her boyfriend” Justen said.

“Hey, hows it going?” Nick reaching out his hand for a shake.

“Uh.. Sup.” shaking his hand.

We all went to find a place to eat.

“Vinny, where were you from again?” Nick asked.

“The city” I replied.

“Ohh, so you didn’t move that far away” He said.

“Mhmm” I said.

Why didn’t Mikey tell me she had a boyfriend? Since when did Noriel have a boyfriend? Why do I feel.. feel so jealous? I just met her today.. and who knows how long they have been dating.

“So how long has it been?” Avery asked.

“4 months” Nick smiled.

Great.

“Are you okay Vinny? You seem to be kinda out of it” Noriel asked.

No.

“Hmm? Oh. Yeah, I’m okay” I replied.

Nick and Noriel left to spend the rest of the lunch period together.

“How come I didn’t meet Nick earlier?” I asked.

“He doesn’t go to school here” Justen said.

“Yeah. And plus he’s always gone on tours and shit.” Mikey said annoyed.

“Tours? For?” I asked.

“Dancing. He’s a varsity dancer at KAIDO” Avery said.

“I would’ve been the one touring around with the varsity team if he wasn’t such a kiss ass” Mikey said under his breath.

“I thought you didn’t want to go?” Justen asked.

“Yeah that too. I didn’t want to leave Noriel” Mikey replied looking back at her.

“So you all don’t like him or?” I asked.

“Eh. Well he’s a good friend and I love him as a friend..but.. I think Noriel deserves someone better” Avery said.

“Yeah. Me” Mikey laughed.

Some other guy starts walking to us.

“Ayyo Mad, what up bro?” Mikey doing a handshake

“Suup. You guys want to go to my party next week?” Madison said.

“We’ll be there Madison” Avery said.

“Cool. Next Friday night guys” Madison said walking away.

“That was Madison Alamia” Justen said.

“So you up for it, Vin?” Mikey asked.

“What. Yeah. Party. Sure.” I replied.

Noriel starts walking back to us

“You’re all going to the party, right?” Noriel asked.

“Yuh huh” Everyone said.

“Vin?” She looked at me.

“Oh, yeah.” I smiled.

“Where’s Nick?” Avery asked.

“He had to go back for practice” Noriel looked down. 

After school. 

Ding! I checked my phone for the text. It was from Noriel.

Noriel: Mikey nd I are waiting in front of the school
Me: Ok. Be there soon (: 

The three of us went on a bus to the complex. I got so many greeting when we walked through the door.

“Welcome to KAIDO!” A man said.

“Vinny, this is our dance teacher and owner of the complex. Brian. Brian Puspos” Mikey said.

“Hi, I’m Vinny” I said shaking the man’s hand.

“I’ve heard many good things from you, Vinny. And you used to dance at ICON, Am I right?” Brian asked.

“Yes sir” I replied.

“Great! Maybe we can squeeze you in the varsity team if you can dance as good as Mikey says” Brian chuckled.
